While the game is fun, challenging, and addictive, it only supports landscape orientations. According to apple human interface documentation, it must support all orientations, including portrait orientations.

This game is amazing! Probably the best Ive ever played! It is very well developed and extremely challenging. The graphics and interaction are simply stunning and very realistic. Highly recommended and well worth the $5 price.

This app is fabulous! I wish I could give it ten stars. Each level involves solving increasingly difficult tile-sliding puzzles to activate whimsical mechanical creations. Its visually spectacular and intriguing; for me the challenge of activating each little machine is both stimulating and relaxing. The puzzle solutions are fully three-dimensional, the music is perfect. Its really an amazing creative achievement, perfectly suited to the iPad. Bravo!

Great game! This is a must get game worth every penny I found out about this game when I was writing a locking for apps and this game didnt have great reviews and this person said that they thought it locked lick cogs so the but all. By the way you should try pocket legins its a great game also a must get

I am not a person who plays games all the time, I wanted a great game for when I travel in the airplane, and this one keeps me occupied in a good way. If you need a game to make you think and not to kill your time, buy this. money well spent.

I could delete all other games on my iPad, but this one is a keeper! It challenges the mind like no puzzle game I have ever played. It is incredibly well thought out and definitely gives you your moneys worth. You dont have to be a genius to play this game, but it helps. ;) My 7 year old loves it, and I love watching his face as he tries to figure out the solution. Like I said, I could delete every other game, but this one was sooooooooooo worth the five bucks. Im going to buy it again for my wifes iPad.

Please please, make a Cogs 2. Now that I got the credits to roll, I feel lost. I am hooked, I tell you, HOOKED! Great job Gals & Guys. Everything about this game is flawless, from the art work to the way the tiles move. Brilliant, gorgeous, I loved every hour It took to get to "Thanks for playing." OK I must admit, I would have liked congratulations and some fireworks at the end. LOL It felt just a bit anticlimactic. (But I did love that, there was that one final super hard puzzle to solve.) Thanks for creating Cogs. Now get to work on Cogs 2. I love you kids. ;)

This game is intense that my brain aches after about an hour of playing. I think this is the most intense game on the iPad. Enjoy it!!!!

This is a clever game. You have to connect gears and steam pipes correctly in order to power various devices. The problem is that you have to earn points in order to unlock higher levels of the game. If you just want to play to relax, as I do, you are forced to complete puzzles within a certain time or a certain number of moves in order to advance to the next level. To the developer: pls remove the "unlock" feature so that we can just solve the puzzles in any order we like!

I love this game while it worked but not it keeps force closing and wont even get past the chillingo screen. Not worth 4.99 for a app that crashed on start everytime.

This brain twister (actually slider) will make the wheels in your brain turn and then blow your mind like the many “Cogs & Steam Pipes” you have to slide into place to complete the some 5o plus puzzles. The graphics are eye candy and the ergonomics pajama comfortable for the fingers. For me, what sealed the deal to buy the full version was the so-called “Lite” gave me exactly what I needed to know what I was about to pay for and was free of clutter and ads that torque the fun out of any trial. I wish they would make it for the iPhone. Definitely one of the best puzzle games out there and free of glitches. Its based on "The n-puzzle," (invented in 1879 and the basis for the Rubik’s Cube) was big in the 70‘s and commonly known as the "The 15 Puzzle" (and its little brother "The 8 Puzzle"). It’s a classical problem for modeling algorithms involving heuristics (don’t let that scare you) and consists of sliding squares in a frame to solve the objective which is described before you start, giving you times to beat. The great part is, even after solving the puzzle, you can do it over to best your times making this game a real bang for the buck. Bottom line... its well worth the time and investment!!

I play this game all the time with my 5-yr old grandson. we both love it!

Great concept. The demo was very good and that lead me to purchasing the game. The game on the other hand was not very user friendly and contained many of area that were near impossible to accomplish. There is a difference between challenging and just down right impossible. This game will leave you less entertained and much more annoyed.
